Doctor Sentenced to 5 Years for Assaulting Cyclists

Here is yet another example of the need for more bicycle lanes. This guy was sentenced to 5 years for assaulting two cyclists by slamming on his breaks and causing one cyclist to slam through the rear window of his car, breaking his teeth, nose and cutting his face all up. The other guy was sent flying into the sidewalk and separated his shoulder. The guy, who is a former doctor, said that the cyclists were cursing at him and flipping him off, so he stopped his car to take pictures of them. Check out the full story here.
