Yea, yea, yea...you know what these are, you see them everywhere now and many fixed riders are wearing them...Five Panel Hats or Cycling Hats are alllllll the rage. Lots of cycling hats are hitting the markets these days, specifically because they have become so popular lately...but, I mean, they are pretty cool. These things can get pretty pricey though, i see them for for over a hundred bucks a pop sometimes...that is just a bit ridiculous...i mean, it IS just a hat.
Outlier came out with the Mercedes of cycling hats pretty recently...a special kind of cycling hat, a waxed cotten cycling hat. This is some next level shit...check out a picture of this thing.
This cap is designed to fit perfectly, look great and "Age to perfection." The waxed cotton this thing is made with, I guess, is supposed to develop over time and be one of those things that gets better as it gets old. This cap is wind proof and water resistant...which is good. I guess thats what happens when you wax cotton, it ages nicely and keeps your head dry...not too bad if you ask me.
