New York 5 Boro Bike Tour

Is Today!  This is perhaps one of the coolest things I have ever seen.  Think about 30,000 people riding bikes through all of the different Boro’s of New York City…we’re talking 42 miles of fun and adventure here.  I wish I was up there to participate in this extraordinary event this year.  If you are in NYC then this is happening right now, and it’s already too late…but you sure can check out the action going on somewhere.  Check out the Bike New York site for all the information you need on what to expect, where they’re riding, some of the riders and various street closures.  In the mean time, check out this video that was shot and put together by the guys over at Bike Blog NYC.  This video highlights the ride from last year, and these guys did the ride on a tandom…pretty sick.
