RiverWest 24 hour Bike Race

John May 4, 2009 1

Well, since we’re on the subject of bike rides/races and coming off of the New York 5 Boro Bike Tour, we might as well mention the Riverwest 24 Bike race that will be taking place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 25th.  This is an event that takes place every year in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee.

“Riverwest is a community event that has as its goal to build our neighborhood. By encouraging bikers and spectators to come out for a full day we hope to show off Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood and encourage biking in an urban environment.”

Check out the RW24 website where you can find even more information on the event, how you can participate, volunteer or just enjoy the action.  Also, check out this video for a nice little introduction to the race, what it stands for and highlights of last years race.
