I recently came across an article in the Los Angeles Times that talks about the fixed gear take over of many bike scenes in the streets of Venice, and much of the West coast. The article touches on many of the different aspects of riding, including the modifications and personalization that go into many riders’ bikes. The article also mentions L.A. Brakeless which is a pretty well known fixed gear shop out there. The article then has a nice little interview with some of the regular fixie riders out in Venice. Enjoy the article here.
