Now that it is getting to be summer time all around the States, people are most likely going to be taking advantage of the warm weather and cool nights…this means more night time riding, which means more fun. But, if you are big into riding at night, than you probably already know the importance of riding with at least a light, especially if you travel and popular streets. Lights on your bike are no joke, they can seriously be the difference between getting hit by a car and not. I have a number of friends who have been hit by cars at night without the use of a light…and you can be sure that they started using bike lights after having a run in with a car. Some lights are just a front light to go on your handlebars…but what good will that do for the idiot speeding up behind you…you gotta have something behind you so that you are visible to cars from all sides.
