Now this is one piece of work right here…a very sleek, very beautiful bike…the PK Ripper in a Midnight Black colorway. Just look at this thing…it is one of the raddest things I’ve seen. This bike is filled with accents of nostalgic BMX inspiration. The PK Ripper has compact frame geometry…its made of 6061 aluminum floval tubing, with a looptail rear end, and retro dropouts & gussets…all well known staples that were prevalent in the 70′s BMX era. These bad boys are limited edition and each one is individually numbered which makes it even cooler. For all you trick riders out there, every 2010 PK Ripper Fixed Gear can bar spin.
This years new model of the PK Ripper differs a bit from last years version…although the 2009 Ripper was a great bike, the frame wasn’t known very well for its durability. This year, the 6061 alloy frame features welded reinforcements between the top tube and head tube…this will let you do BMX style moves on a fixie and be pretty rough with it. It’s pretty sick that a bike company is producing complete fixed gear bikes with the intent of it being used for trick purposes…definitely rad.
