Let’s face it, you can’t always ride your bike everywhere you go…sometimes you gotta go a really long distance and your little legs just cant make it that far. Sometimes you are going to need to transport your bike somewhere, be it on an airplane, bus or your own personal car. When it comes to taking your bike somewhere in a car, you want to make sure you have plenty of room so you don’t take a chance of harming your bike. But chances are, unless you have a big ass truck or SUV, you probably wont have the room you need…next best thing, get a bike carrier for your car. There are many different versions and kinds of these things, but if you are like me and just have a little car and no trailer hitch, you should definitely go with rear mount bike carriers that attatch to the trunk of your car. I have one and I absolutely love it…it works great and is definitely a big help when I am going long distances. These things will fit most vehicles and are often easy to use with adjustment hubs and quick release levers. They also come pre-assembled and fold up so you can put it in your truck, or under your bed when you are not using…but most importantly, they come with extra security measures to ensure your bike is safe and doesn’t sway.
