It is about time somebody did it…a couple of dudes over from the Rollapaluza crew have put out this photo driven book all about fixed gear bikes, the culture and movement. This book also mentions heavily the history behind fixed gear bicycles, the racing aspect of it, as well as the trend we see with the bikes today. There are tons of really sick photos in this book, its definitely a book I would be stoked to see sitting on my coffee table. If you are interested in more than just the trend of fixed gear riding and want to learn some history behind the activity, you should definitely give this book a good look over. This is a great book, I have thumbed through it on many occasions and there are numerous well informed articles throughout. The section on Keirin racing in particular is excellent. The photo’s throughout are fantastic.
