Well, if you have been riding your fixie outside lately, you can obviously tell that it is now winter. It is officially freezing in my area of the country and my face is taking the brunt of this cold weather. In order to combat the frigid cold in your face, there are a number of things you can do; One of the easiest things to do is to tie a bandanna around your face. This will definitely take the edge off of the wind, especially if you do this along with a warm knit beanie. The most efficient answer to this dilemma is a ski mask. These stretchy and durable ski masks are perfect for cycling...they fit inside helmets, they cover you all the way down to your neck and you still have 100% visibility. Hoods can sometimes limit your peripheral vision on a bike...these do not and they are far warmer and cover a lot more of the face. Check out these cycling face masks for sale below through the following eBay auctions, as well as other fixed gear bicycle accessories. Keep warm out there on your fixies!
