It really sucks not knowing for sure what size you are in something, especially if you are ordering it online…or just in general…i hate trying shit on. Oh well, if you have never really worn bike gloves before, you may not know what size you wear; if that is the case, then you are in the right place.
If you have worn gloves before, it is best to order the size that you usually wear (duh). Most gloves are pretty consistent in size from brand to brand…so if you wore a large in the past, its safe to say you should probably order another large. However, if you are pretty new to cycling, have no idea what size gloves to buy and have no prior experience buying gloves, you can always just measure your hand to figure that out…it’s not too hard. All you have to do is break out a cloth tape measure and gather a range of measurements…you will get the best fit by using the largest measurement you can get; obtaining the largest measurement is accomplished by making your palm as wide and flat as possible with the thumb sticking straight out (just like the picture above). Then just take the measurements, equate that to the size chart below and there you go! Check out some of the bicycle gloves for sale available in the fixed gear shop.
