Thats right, the 14th issue of the very nice bicycle culture magazine, Urban Velo, is now available for your downloading pleasure. However, if you are a true fan or some kind of a collector...or if you just simply like hard copiest better, you can always order the actual printed issue. Slow Motion Bike Polo Action

I found this video over on the Fixed Gear Blog, and what we have here is some slow motion fixed gear bicycle polo action. It makes it look way more graceful when you watch it in slow motion, as opposed to the havoc and mayhem it appears to be at full speed. This even reminds me of the Lakai video, Fully Flared...I dont know how many of you guys are also into skateboarding, but that is the best video of all time. The intro is epic, slow motion shots...check that out the Fully Flared Intro scene...even if you aren't into skateboarding, I think you will still enjoy this.

Urban Bicycle Polo, Cycle Polo, Bike Polo...whatever you prefer to call it, it is super fun. It is most commonly referred to as "Bike Polo," and the game is similar to traditional polo, except bikes are used instead of horses. Not only is it fun, but it is also very useful with improving control and developing skills which will help you handle your bike off the court and on the streets. The game has seen a sharp spike in interest since 2007 and new teams have been sprouting up across the world. Be on the lookout for a bike polo community in your area, definitely a fun activity to look forward to each week. Check out this video below for more information on it.
