Fixed Gear Bicycles For Sale » fixed http://www.buyafixie.com Fixed Gear Bicycles, Parts and Accessories, and Fixie Blog Thu, 29 Jul 2010 15:25:44 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.0 EighthInch Headtube Extenders http://www.buyafixie.com/06/eighthinch-headtube-extenders/ http://www.buyafixie.com/06/eighthinch-headtube-extenders/#comments Mon, 28 Jun 2010 18:26:57 +0000 John http://www.buyafixie.com/?p=2012 eighthinch headtube extenderCheck out these new EighthInch Headtube Extenders which is part of EighthInch's new line of freestyle parts they have just put out.  These are pretty much extenders which will add 20mm to  your headtube which will allow for wheel/tire clearance for barspins and junk.  According to the EighthInch website, these things will make the most un-bar-spin-able bike able to bar-spin...that's pretty cool.  The EighthInch Headtube Extenders are available in black or silver, 1" or 11/8" and for threadless headsets/forks only.  Installation of the extenders requires such tools as a headset press, headset cup removal tools, etc...so you might have to go to a qualified bike shop to have this thing put on.  The extenders also change the geometry of the bike, so that could cause a different feel and handle of the bike.  But anyways, check out some of these EighthInch Headtube Extenders for sale through these eBay auctions below:
